A short part of my conversation with a friend on why I've been so sad lately. I dont know, I think I got depressed. All I did was cry this past week wanting to go home everyday.

Just thought I should post this to give an update on my life. I'm just so out of it recently.

27 minutes till my birthday and I am writing this blog.

I was supposed to finish this blog way earlier in time, but because of a certain someone IMing me the moment I got home, everything has been delayed. I sort of went wild this evening after what happened hahahah. If any of you were with me, you wouldve laughed watching me. I won't expound anymore on what happened cause the person might find out haha but yeah. That was some pretty good birthday gift for me. It gave me a high for atleast an hour. Hahahah!!

Anyway! So I wore this outfit out to lunch with my family. I've worn this top quite a number of times these past days, but I never wore it on my blog so I decided to wear it today. We were supposed to watch a MMFF film this afternoon, but apparently my sister isnt allowed to the one we wanted to watch (Manila Kingpin) so we ended up window shopping instead.

I died, okay. It is probably the hardest thing in the world to go to the mall with ALL your christmas money (and not spend it). There were too many things to want... but I knew I had to control. The Smashbox holiday palettes were already in stock in Beauty Bar and I freaked cause I just used to adore those palettes online... and now they're available. Plus they're a holiday collection so they're only on stock for a while.

I was also on the hunt for new durable flats to wear for school. Something abuse-able. So I was going along the lines of Bass and Aerosoles. I was looking around for all the possible options when I stumbled on these GORGEOUS Sam Edelman flats. They were so pretty! They had spikes on them and they were sparkly :") I fell more in love when I tried them on. MOST.COMFORTABLE.SHOES.EVER!!!!!!! Well okay, its different from the comfort of Aerosoles and Bass, but it really is a pretty comfortable shoe. Unfortunately, its 6k. Most heartbreaking story of my life hahahah! Gorgeous shoes nevertheless. Its going to be hard for me to forget about this pair.

Theenn from the shoes, we go to the books. Just some really pretty books I browsed through at the bookstore. I think next year I'm going to start investing on these types of books. They dont only have good content for a fashion enthusiast such as me, but they'd also make great coffee table books :-)

Sooo thats about it for now. Just a little blog on the beautiful things I saw today. Tomorrow, I mean, later, I celebrate my birthday with my family! I like my outfit for later. Can't wait to show it to you guys! :-)

Christmas With The Second Family

Wore this out to our annual barkada Christmas dinner. Super funny cause I wore this (without the heels)to buy liquor at the grocery before dinner. I was alone so I had to carry the bottles of alchohol by myself all the way from the grocery to my car. Since I parked far, I had to pass the mall before I got to the parking lot. Since plastic is banned here in Alabang, I had to carry the bottles in a box, hence they were sticking out as I carried them to my car. Nagmukha tuloy akong lasinggera. Hahahah!

Dad loved my outfit today, and that's a lot, considering he's dad. Haha. He's told me to change my outfits countless of times before, so its such an achievement for him to compliment me on my first outfit of choice. He even asked where I bought the top! Well, it really is pretty and it has such fine details, definitely up to par with my dad's taste.

Anyway, this is my barkada! This is our 5th Christmas together. This has been our barkada probably since 7th grade so you can just imagine how long it's been! Of course, some of us were just added along the way but we all love each other a hundred percent nevertheless :) We're not complete here though, cause one of the guys came late, and the other two are out of town.

Our barkada has such a strong base that these people will most probably be the people that will be with me till I grow old. It's very nice having these people around. The others even already bring their significant others to our dinners/hang-outs which is nice to see because in the future, we'll all be like a big family each of us with our significant other, and maybe children! That night I was telling one of the guys how wild it would be in our future get-togethers when we already have kids. I was like, "Can you imagine one day, we're all going to be hanging out and there are going to be children wildly running around and calling us tito and tita"

It's a very exciting thing to think of, the future, with these people :)

Before anything, I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas although it wasnt exactly the same for me. It's never good timing to create a blogpost when you're emotional, but here goes.

It was probably the worst Christmas for me. I'd love to expound more, but since this blog has become public more than anything, I have to keep some stuff to myself. Or else MARAMING AANGAL AT SHET BAKA MADEMANDA PA AKO SA LAHAT NG MGA PINAGSASABI KO HAHAHAH. I cried like thrice, AND THEY WERENT TEARS OF JOY. It felt like my birthday two years ago --that one was really sad. Can you imagine crying on your birthday... hahahah. I really hope it doesnt happen this year.

I guess its true when they say that the people who seem happiest on the outside, are actually the loneliest. Sometimes I feel like one day I'm going to end up like one of those people... RICH but ALONE.

This post is so sad.... but I've kind of let go of today's events already. Happens a lot so I must be used to it.

That's about it for now. Outfit today by the way is another color-blocking frenzy of mine. Since its Christmas, red and green! :-) Simulated a shift-dress by putting a tailored top and skirt together. Anyhoo, Hopefully I get to catch some GVs tomorrow at our highschool barkada get-together. Will try to get back all the sadness that was today. Haha. Bye!!

Hi guys. What up. Hahahah. SO this is me behind all the fasyon and the make-up. I guess you could say this is me off-duty. Naga-day off si atey. Aheheheh. My friend took photos of me a while ago and she dared me to post it on Lookbook and since I already had this picture, might as well put it up here too right LOL.

ANYWAY, this is actually me on a daily basis (Yeah I dont look as gorgeous as my fasyon pictures when I'm in school...). I only really dress up during the weekends, and even then its not even that ALL-OUT. Its hard being all pretty and fashionable in school cause its forever hot. Na-wawapoise ka lang so might as well be wapoise to begin with HAHAHAH. I look forever skwating in school I swear. (Which is a good thing, I think. Because just today I found out that I have a rich-kid hater terror professor. She CRAZILY SHOUTED at us, NOTE, in our FIRST OFFICIAL day of class and right after she asked who drinks at Starbucks... cause she wanted to know how much the coffee there was as a point of discussion. No one raised their hands.... and she was trying to get ANY of us to admit that they did... but no one did. So I decided to just stay quiet and hide in my shell).

Its funny though, how I can dress up so differently. There are some times when I feel like dressing up in school so I go all pretty and glammed up with matching make-up. People probably find it weird to see me all dressed up one day and looking like basahan (rags) the next. They probably have a hard time judging me too. Maarte ba to? High-maintenance? Superficial? ay tapos biglang naka-pambahay so simple lang? down to earth? doesntreallycarewhatotherpeoplethink? hehe. Because really, when I do dress down, its down to the center core of the Eaaarttthhh. Pag pambahay, pambahay talaga!

So anyway, first week of school was great! As usual, not much classes. I'm taking up Korean language this semester so that should be exciting. We only received the alphabet last week and next week we're already having a reading exam (INDIVIDUAL!! :o). Guess the prof already expected that we were all die-hard Korean fans and we should have been even a teensy bit acquianted with the language. :))

What I Wore: Thrifted denim jacket, H&M romper/dress, Penshoppe shoes, Therapy bag.

Off title, considering that what I'm wearing is very baby pink and blue. The title is because of my nails! The shade of the polish I'm wearing is Green with Envy :D Adorable color! It looks great with pink and blue. I lovelovelove shades such as this. I'm still on the hunt for one last Orly color though which is GUMDROP. I had it on from one of my nail spa trips in Katipunan two semesters ago and I just wanted to get my own bottle since then. Couldnt find it in any store though, so I havent had the chance to get my hands on it. If any of you know where I can get/order one, please let me know! :)

Anyhoo, wore this out to watch In Time with the family. REALLY COOL MOVIE!!! Awesome concept. Although it lacked a bit more thrill. The idea was great though. Really liked it :D

I also finally bought a case for my make-up today! Hahahah FINALLY. I only used to put my make-up in an Etude House paper bag and since its about to break down already I decided it already needed a stable case :))) Will be fixing it later tonight :) Das all, till the next blog! Heehee

I just noticed how I've been wearing so much color lately. So much prints and loud colors.. Its the mood, i swear! Oh and sorry for the ponytails on my wrist haha they're forever there.... :)))

Nike Air Jordan High Heels

Hoolyy shiizz guys. So I was browsing the internet for God-knows-what and I also dont know how, but I stumbled on these babies.

The Nike Air Jordan high heels for women. THEY ARE SO FRICKKIN LEGIT!!!!!! I totally woke up from my drowsiness when I saw these. Being the dancer that I am, I've always been drawn to different types of rubbershoes, and Nike Air is one brand that never disappoints. Nike Air, or what most call dunks, are the shoes most dancers use cause of their comfort and durability. I received my first dunks back in 2007 and I was more than happy. I still remember when dunks were the it shoe back in the day... Hahahah!

And now look! They come in heels now. Would you look at that. I love them cause they really look like dunks. Parang ang angas pag suot mo to. :P

Wouldnt know what to wear it with, but I definitely want one for myself! I believe they've been out since last year though, so I'm not sure where I'd be able to get one. I'd probably go and check the local Nike store soon to inquire, but for the mean time if anyone knows a retailer of authentic nike shoes, please let me know! =)

You Know You At The Top When Heaven's Right Above It

Wore this out with the family today. I was trying to get home early today since I wanted to catch the sun for my outfit picture but unfortunately we got home late so heres some indoor (technically outdoor but whatever) flash fashion photography photos :))) I dont like indoor photos for outfit shots since they fail to show all the details of the outfit but ah well, this will have to do. Say hello to my ghost friends. Heehee.

Can I just say, concealer works! (Well no duh...) But yeah. I never really used concealer before since I didnt need them much. For my eyebags I just used foundation and I was satisfied enough with the coverage it gave. But recently I got bored and figured I should try using concealer and see what it does for me. And voila! NO EYEBAGS AT ALL!! Would you look at that :') For an architecture student like me who's already used to sleeping at 4 in the morning, eyebags indeed are inevitable. They dont even bother me, or other people because its already become part of my look (HAHA). Anyway yeah, I was just amazed at how eyebag-less I looked esp since my eyebags are as big as my eyes (THATS A FACT!! @_@). For this look I used Etude House's Surprise concealer, then I used Body Shop's cream foundation on top of it, and sealed with Max Factor's powder. I didnt use foundation anymore for the rest of my face since I've been going without it recently. I figured I still looked fine without it so I've been skipping that. Theenn just Etude House's volume mascara, MAC's peach blush (my staple), and Face Shop's pink lipstick. Nailpolish is Orly's Snowcone which I LOVE!! Just one coat and already has great color pay off. :)

Why I Love My Blackberry (And why you should too!)

(sorry for the the messy look, makeup, and glitters on my face. my friends and i were doing makeovers prior to this :)))

So this is a post about my ever so trusty-Blackberry. Eversince I laid my hands on a bb, I swore never to switch phone brands anymore. I got my first bb in 4th year highschool. It was a Bold 9700 which I've already posted on here before. Back then, noone had Blackberrys yet and I only had 2 contacts in BBM for quite some time. I remember I'd even bug my highschool batchmates just to turn their BB service on so I could add them. Now though, its like everyone has them, and my measly contact list of 2 has now evolved to 70.

My favorite Bold9700 got stolen a while back in 1st yr college. When it got stolen, I realized I couldnt live without a Blackberry anymore. So I replaced it with a Bold9000. Even though it was secondhand, it was still good for me. I needed a Blackberry. Long story but after that I soon decided to replace my old one again when the new line up of models came out. The line up for this season were the Torch9810, the Bold touch, the Torch thats pure touch, and a bunch of new Curves (Sorry I'm too lazy to search their model numbers). I then decided to get the Torch9810 in white. Its exactly like the old Torch except it runs in OS7, it has a better camera (HD video), and has more internal memory.

Its been with me for a month or two now, and let me tell you the reasons I love it.

1. Social Networks

I think the main selling point in Blackberrys for the youth nowadays is the social network. Theres BBM, Twitter, Facebok, YM!... all the possible messaging services you could want. Personally I love Twitter and BBM. I tweet everywhere! And I love uploading twitpics. Its also become pretty neat for me too since tweeting has sort of been a public communication device now. There'd be times I'd tweet 'otw to Bonchon for lunch!' and apparently my friends are there in the area so we'd just tweet each other to meet. No more text messaging! BBM on the other hand is another really handy app. If only more of my close friends had it, I'd be bbm-ing more often. What I love about BBM is the group chat. ARCHIPEEPS BBM group, you know what I'm talkin about ;)

2. Internet

So this one's a very CRUCIAL factor. The internet in my dorm sucks. And I'm too lazy and cheap to get a broadband stick so I decided to get a phone with internet instead. Precisely why I switched to the Torch. For bigger screen! Now I can surf the net anytime, anywhere! Whenever boredom strikes wherever I'm at, I just hit up the web and browse through Tumblr or what have you.

3. Media

The Blackberry is almost everything you could ever want in a phone. I've finally abandoned my iPod (my poor nano thats been alive since grade 7?) and now use my phone as my mp3. I mean, why carry two gadgets when you can have them in one? Also, since I got the Torch 2 now, I've started to add videos to my phone. Its preeeettyyy sweeeet! Really good quality. I feel like I can probably put some TV show series in here to watch over long trips :D

4. Camera

Ah, the camera. What I would do without it. Another selling point for me! The camera in the phone is something I'm very picky about. Well actually, no. As long as it takes good pictures, I'm fine. I love photography so having my phone with me at all times has served me well, especially when I dont have my camera with me. I used to be SO into photography, but theres a lot of competition in my University so I let the others take the job instead. Recently I havent had time for it anyway. So now, even just having my phone is fine since I still get to take photos of spontaneous trips without having the hassle of an SLR.

Not to mention, video in the BB is acceptable as well. You dont know how many epic nights I have caught with my Blackberry. (I've uploaded a ton of my bb videos from events on my FB page but trust me theres more than that. We have a thing we'd like to call SCRAPBOOK.... which has some of the wildest, funniest, epic deeds Katipunan has ever seen).

5. Communication

Aside from the phone calls and text messaging, theres email. WHICH DOES WONDERS. Its so cool receiving email from professors during the day WITH YOUR GRADES ON THEM. Its like you're updated right away. Anything that goes on in the virtual world, you're notified right away, wherever you are. I use email mostly in dealing with my professors. But heres one of the best things I just love about the Blackberry (that I wouldnt know what I'd do without :( ). You can email your profs any documents that you've been working on. If you have a paper due, or a powerpoint presentation, or any document really that needs to be sent... all you have to do is plug in your phone to your laptop, transfer the files to your phone, attach them to the email, and voila! IT BE DONE. Of course this is only useful if you dont have internet at the moment (which is my case in the dorm all the time :P).

6. USB

And lastly, the phone works like a usb! Well Android and iPhones also have the same function but still. Its just another addition to why I love the Blackberry. There have been times when I was in a rush and I couldnt find my usb so I decided to stuff my documents in the phone. I needed to have a bunch of things printed so I transferred the files to my phone, went to the nearest computer shop, and had them printed directly from my phone there. Pretty awesome stuff, my bb is really a lifesaver!

OH BUT WAIT, I forgot to add this.. but I also love the BB because of STYLE. Its a very stylish phone. Very sleek and classy. Plus what I love about it is its silicone cases!! Hehe. I love playing around with the cases of the Blackberry. I'm always in the hunt for new different colors. I've had the case of the 9700 in neon green and purple before, and now I use the pink for my Torch. Love love love the colors :)

All in all the Blackberry is such a great phone that serves to function for the immediate needs of anyone. It can be a camera, an mp3 player, a usb, a web browsing and chat messaging tool, etc. Its the phone that anyone could ever need ;)

The Comeback

Wow guys... wow. How long has it been? Hahahah. Finally, a legit update from me. Just a quick post on why I've been so MIA. One its because I've gone fat. I couldnt bare to take photos of the new weight gain. I couldnt even get myself to wear nice clothes cause I felt like I didnt deserve it. Plus wearing them would just remind me of how much I've gained. I was (still am) in such denial. I'm really not in the mood to diet now since I've always said I'd diet but I never really did so I'm tired of it SOOO diet next time ka na. Hahahah!

SECOND! The past semester was such a MESS. If freshman year was wild, this one was DISASTROUS! Worst semester EVEEEEEERRR. I was in the most slacker mode ever. It was horrible. :( I dont ever wanna slack off like that again. Its the worst feeling ever. Its not ME. :( But anyhoo, I'm just thankful its over now. And I passed Physics 71 which I felt I was gonna badly fail. I got 2.75 praise the Lord. But yeah, never agaaaaiinn!!!

Many more things happened over the semester. Lots of new friends and events too! Wish I could blog about it more... but it would be too long for words.

Anyhoo on to the outfit. I wore these pants a few posts back but its actually been a long time since I last wore them. Thought I'd never wear these again (cause I only bought it for our dance concert), but hey what do you know :P The shoes I bought a few months back and only had the chance to wear them now. They're cute dont you think?? Good find from SM! Oh and notice the nails! They're Orly's Snowcone color. Adorable! Gotta love Orly :)

Hey guys! So since I've been MIA and undergoing my early-mid-life-crisis, heres something new for all of you. My friend James, who is from Brunei, shares almost the same fashion interests as I do and so me being the one with the camera, decided to shoot him and go back behind the scenes once again as the photographer. We were able to take pretty good shots that this partnership might actually lead to somewhere (Perhaps a new blog? We dont know yet). It was really cool shooting with him, I've missed being a photographer!

Hey guys!!! Long time no see! This is a really old photo I wasnt able to blog way back at the beginning of the semester. It's the preppy outfit with the preppy shorts I was talking about... Hahaha! Gee, I missed out on this blog big time. I have so much to say. I kind of feel like I'm letting this blog down... Sigh :(

Its not that I'm busy or anything. In fact, this semester has GOT to be the smoothest semester ever. I ACTUALLY go home at 4pm.... (I never went home earlier than 530pm during my first year in college) I also get to dress up more now, because of my car (which means I can wear dresses and skirts to school since I dont use the jeep!) but alas, I still fail to blog because one, not like anyone can take my pictures while I'm in school, two, not like I can blog with the horrible internet in the dorm, and three, I have just gained so much weight that I am at my worst stage right now. I'm going through some mid-life crisis of sorts.

Last week, I wore the same black skirt to school for THREE whole days and white shirts for the rest of the week.

Yes. Thats how bad it is.

A month ago, I was make-up artist for the filming of our org video. I opted to wear something breezy since it was a hot day and I knew there were so much things that were going to go on on set. It was an intense day, but we were able to stick it out.

Good Things Come in Big Boxes

The best boxes are the ones that come unexpected with a "Belated Happy 18th Bday" greeting...

Relatives came home from the States a few days ago and they came with this box for mee!

A tan, all leather Coach handbag. So adorable. The leather is so soft and it just looks so perfect. I immediately knew what I was gonna use this bag for. School! I've been looking for a new replacement school bag and I've been eying this tan sling bag in The Ramp. But since I got this bag as a gift, I decided I'd use this instead. I mean, who doesnt love a leather bag? :)

I love Coach. My mom has a few sling bags from there from when she was in her 20's and theyre still alive till now (Not to mention they're my favorite go-to, no-brainer bags). If I were to live with one bag brand for the rest of my life, it would be Coach because its affordable and lasts hell of a long time. I'd say Chanel, but we all know to well that its just too impractical to live on Chanel. Unless ofcourse you are a hardcore-million-dollar-earner.

Really really awesome Penshoppe sandals for only 500 and 650!!! So cheap! And comfy too! Theyre not stiff like those other cheap sandals.

Bunch of school mat's! Bought a notebook specifically for Math and for Physics. Then got a really cute pink college notebook for the rest of my notes. Yay for new notebooks and pens! :3

Wore this to supposedly "finish" enrollment, but there was something wrong with my Form5a so I had to come back to school to fix it. I got to school after lunch and I knew I wouldnt be able to get it within the day so I left instead and decided to come back for it on Monday. Hopefully it'll be printed by then so I can finally pay... *whistles*

No make-up look today. I think its cause I was rushing or something. Gotta give ma skin a reesstt.

Wore this out to school today to enlist the last subject that I needed. Its been raining cats and dogs since yesterday so I opted to wear this outfit since when we left for school, it was still raining. I've only worn that coat I'm wearing once in this blog. I bought it last year in New York but since then I never found the time to re-wear it for the blog since whenever I do, it would be raining (duh) and I wouldnt be able to take pictures with it. Fortunately, the rain stopped pouring this afternoon so I was able to take a shot :)

Went shopping in Forever 21 Makati last week and took pictures of the stuff I bought due to the request of one of my readers :) My bestie and I wanted to visit the F21 in SM Makati out of curiosity. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The stuff they had were all trendy but at that time I was looking for simple possible-school-uniform clothes so I was disappointed in the stocks they had. I even feel like I only bought stuff for the sake of buying. But oh well, whatever. The Forever 21 in Megamall is far better in my opinion.

Anyhoo, he's a picture of the stuff I got. (I ended up getting a few items at The Ramp too since they had quality items at very cheap prices!)

3. Forever 21 pink chiffon tube top. --I love this one, its so cute and girly!!! The draping is really pretty and it has bird patterns on it :)

4. The Ramp white chiffon top. --This one has really gorgeous draping too. Its really classy and I thought it was perfect for school. Plus it was only P780!!

5. Forever 21 striped romper. -- This looks really short but it isnt that revealing when worn. Since its a romper, the lower half are shorts and they dont go all the way up. Its sort of a bubble-short. I think this is great for summer activities or it can also be styled into a party-outfit.

6. Forever 21 turquoise shorts with belt. -- Got this one specifically for school since I thought it looked really preppy. Now I just need to go find tops to match with it.

Theenn just yesterday, I bought new school shoes. I barely wear flats but since I have to start being girly and ~~stop wearing rubbershoes to school~~ I decided it was time to get me a durable pair. Cutesies! Hihi

Wore this to the second day of enrollment. I didnt do much today since one of the classes I needed was on waitlist and the results would still come out around Friday. I had my advising yesterday so I didnt have much lining up to do except for that one class which was on waitlist. I was expecting to finish paying at the OUR today but because of that one class, looks like I'll be finishing the enrollment process next week Monday.

Anyhoo! I only noticed this now since I took a close-up picture of it. But did you notice that the LV print on my mom's speedy bag is upside down??? I got shocked when I saw it cause I was like wait what okay thats weird. I dont know much about Louis Vuitton so I had to search it on the internet and apparently Speedy bags are created that way since Louis Vuitton only uses one canvass per bag. So naturally if its faced normal on one side, its upside down on the other. COOL FASHION FACT OF THE DAY! HAHA! Pardon me for not brushing up on my Fashion 101.

2011 Mazda 3 Hatchback

Hey guys! Long time no blog! haha! Summer class has finally ended and soon I'm going to be starting with my second year of college. Just last Thursday, my dad bought me a new car to bring to school, and its the 2011 Mazda 3 Hatchback. This car wasnt originally in our list of cars to choose from. Read on to know more. :P

Last Sunday, my family and I went car hunting. We visited almost all the car dealer shops here in Alabang. After a whole day of looking at cars, we came to our top picks which were the Kia Soul, Honda Jazz, Hyundai Accent, Ford Focus, and Mazda 3 (in order of how strongly we felt for each one). We didnt really mind the Mazda 3 at first cause when we looked at the model, it was under the burning hot sun so we werent able to appreciate it much. At the end of the day, I fell in love with the Kia Soul because it was the cutest thing in the world. My dad on the other hand kept on insisting on the Honda Jazz because of its name which meant reliable service and quality. It took us days arguing about it. Dad said the quality of the interior and the engine of the Kia Soul was ugly and it was bad compared to the Jazz. But I just couldnt bring myself to like the Jazz no matter what I did. (I honestly found the exterior so ugly! And it was a common car.. which I didnt like cause I dont like being like everyone else :)))

I really insisted on getting the Kia Soul and I really argued with my dad to the end for it. Sooner or later, I was losing the debate and I was starting to accept the fact that I was already going to get the Jazz. I started to appreciate how it looked and eventually I was like "ok narin to." But then, out of my dad's pure love for me (ahihihihi) he really still tried to reconsider the Kia Soul. So last Wednesday the personnel of Kia came by my dad's office to have him test drive the Soul. The car came in red, and his officemates absolutely LOVED it. He practically sealed the deal that morning cause of his officemates feedback and because the drive wasnt so bad.

While this was all happening, my mom and I were on the other side of the world looking at the Jazz. Dad also told us to take a look at the Mazda 3 that afternoon since our contact fixed the car for us so we could see it in properly in the showroom (and not outside in the scorching heat). Once we arrived, I was amazed at how it looked like in the showroom. More so when I sat inside. The whole car just felt so solid. The interior was really classy, and the exterior was pretty good looking as well. I was all so giddy about it, since I knew I'd already have a back-up for the Kia Soul.

Come dinnertime, Dad talked to us about the cars. He told us about how much he liked the Kia Soul when it came to his office, but afterwards he received feedback from his officemates that the unit they brought to his office had a LEAK. Plus my dad brought up some issues to Kia and lets just say that they werent very honest about it. Also, the unit they brought for testdrive was a brand new Las Pinas unit. So my dad questioned them about testdriving brand new units. I quote: "Edi second hand na yan pag binenta niyo?" Kasi nga, they testdrive BRAND NEW units. Which is not proper.

So anyhoo, I was turned off as well when I heard of this story. And I decided I really didnt want the Kia Soul anymore. My dad told me though, that he visited Mazda too that afternoon and he was amazed by the car and he asked me what I thought. We finally agreed on the same thing. So the next day we paid for the car and brought it home. HEE. ♥

The continuation of our Illocos fieldtrip back in Feb. This time finally in the beach. We stayed in this really cool resort in Pagudpod. I forgot what it was called but it was really clean and had good service. We also visited the windmills in Illocos where it was super duper windy!! I could feel the small particles of the stand hitting my skin which hurt big time :( Anyhoo, I only noticed now.. but my romper and bikini are almost the same print! Haha what a coincidence. That was so not planned! It looks as if I cut off my romper to create a bikini. Nyahaha. Well there ya goo, enjoy! P:

Happy Easter everyone!! =) I wore this really out of the box outfit for Easter today. At first I was having second thoughts on the outfit since we were going to mass and it wasnt exactly "conservative" (with the loud prints and all..) but I thought, what the hell, its not like anyone should be giving a damn. And hey, I think the outfit really worked out!

The pants were a pair that I bought specifically for our dance concert last March. For one of the dances I was in, we were required to be in harem pants and it was just such a struggle for me to find one.. so when I found this, I immediately bought it even if it was 1k++ and I *knew I was never going to wear them again*. But here I am, sporting the look once again. Hope I get the most out of this piece though! It's really hard finding things to go well with extremely loud pieces sometimes.

Oh, and did you notice the purple nails?? So cute right!! I got them at Faceshop when I went on a make-up haul a few weeks ago. Love love the color! :)

Hullo everyone! I currently have summer class so its such a struggle for me to update but luckily I found the time to do so. Here are some pictures from our super fun Illocos fieldtrip last Feb! Its a two-part post so here's the first part :)

Started everything off with drinks with a few friends at Drew's. We were originally supposed to go have drinks with our fieldtrip group, but a lot ended up backing out so we were only 3 left and ended up just meeting other people and hanging with them there before we headed to the meeting area where we were to board the bus.

It was an 8-hour (?) trip from QC to Vigan and we had about 2-3 stops before we got to the place (which sucked because my sleep kept on being disturbed!)

We finally arrived in Vigan where we had breakfast. We were also allowed to roam around the town for an hour. We basically just did some sight-seeing and ofcourse, a lot of photo-ops. Hahaha!

We also went to Baluarte which is some sort of government mini-zoo. It was fun being able to play around with the animals and be able to touch them without any fee at all! Thanks by the way to Billie who tinkered with my camera which resulted to the beautiful pictures above haha! We had a lot more stops that day, including churches and museums but it came to a point that all I really wanted was rest and sleep so towards the end of the day I was found left all alone in the bus, sleeping, while everyone else hopped down to see the various attractions.

This is what I wore to my little sister's recognition day. I wanted to wear something that screamed "ate", but not too old. It was also a perfect outfit since its summer and it matched the season somehow. I'm wearing the same jeans as my previous post which just proves my total love for them. My previous school is very conservative so I opted to wear jeans so I wont have to take the risk of suddenly not being allowed in. Went to lunch after and I finally bought RO load! Haha

Went on a trip to Calatagan back in January which I was never able to blog about because of my schedule but I figured since its already summer, then why not?

The trip was a weekend fieldtrip for our Geography class. We were three classes under one prof that went to the fieldtrip. We just basically chilled and hung out. In the morning, we had beach games to start the morning off.

New found Geog1 friends! Can you believe none of these people were my classmates? Hahaha!

The Perfect Pair

You know how it is essential for every girl to have one pair of perfect go-to jeans in her wardrobe? Well, this is mine. I was never really a jeans person. I hated jeans cause they had that uncomfortable fit. It gets hot and to me it just served as a reminder of how fat I was (It would be such a struggle to put them on and I just remember how huge my thighs are =))) But after reading Lauren Conrad's book, STYLE, I realized that there IS a pair for me out there. She mentioned that we just have to look for that pair with the perfect fit that flatters us, and provides us with the comfort that we need. And so, I went on the hunt for this perfect pair that she was talking about.

What I Wore: Lee/Levis(?) Top, Zara jeans, H&M Blazer, Alice&Olivia for Payless heels, Chanel bag.

I found mine in Zara last December. And I tell you, it was like finding a gold mine. At first I wanted to wait for it to go on sale (since I absolutely hate it when I buy stuff from Zara/Mango because ALL their items go on sale when they do -_-), but even after the Christmas sale, they still werent on discount! (Apparently They were a new collection so even if it was out before the Christmas sale, they werent part of it :( ). I was so desperate because I really fell in love with them so I finally decided to get it on regular price. It was so worth it though, cause its extremely perfect and comfortable!!! I never knew jeans could provide that much comfort. They're semi-stretch so it was really easy to move in them. And despite being skinny jeans, they didnt give that weird tight, rough, textured feeling.. I guess because of the material. I just love them so much because I never knew that I would find jeans that would fit me well. I'd go to a lot of shops and the jeans are always either uncomfy or dont flatter my body (or just simply dont fit me at all :|) so when I found this, I just knew they had to be mine.

LC also said in her book that its hard to find the perfect pair so sometimes, when she finds one that she absolutely loves, she stacks on them just in case. And now I'm actually thinking of that, although I'm not sure if I should get the same pair. I was on another hunt today and I found a pair in Mango which was very similar to this, except in a lighter blue.

And can I just say, I SO miss wearing (and buying) heels!! I know its not practical for me to buy them anymore (since I commute in school and all..) so it really breaks my heart not being able to window shop for them. SIGH.

To Start Off The Summer...

Wore this today to start off the summer with my barkada. We played frisbee and football in the park during the afternoon and had the usual dinner at Bia's. We're in his house so often that we already made a Facebook location page so that we could tag ourselves whenever we're in his house HAHA. We bought ingredients for dinner at the nearby Rustan's and the boys cooked afterwards. It's funny, in our barkada, its the guys who cook instead of the girls. Our barkada consists mostly of guys so that explains it. We didnt help cook much tonight since for some reason, whenever everyones in the kitchen helping cook, it takes us FOUR hours just to finish cooking. Good decision letting the guys handle it alone. We finally ate in time.

Fun day! Cant wait to spend the summer!

AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH FINAAALLLYYY ITS SUMMER!!!! I'M SO HAPPY. Well, my summer's only two weeks since I have summer class starting Apr19 but oh well atleast I still have one even for just a short while!

Anyhoo I wore this outfit to my last day of exams. The shoes are reaaaaallyy loveelyy!! So comfortable too! I'm sure I'll be wearing them a lot this summer. Oh and, sorry if I keep repeating that bag.. its just that during the semester I only get to wear it during weekends (since I cant bring it while I commute to EVERYWHERE) so I use it as much as I can when I'm home. Hehe.

Dad's Birthday

It was dad's birthday last Sunday and we spent it having lunch in Circles at Makati Shang. Two buffet days in a row.. crazy. This was my first plate.. and the next is history. And yes, I'm the type to get a little bit of everything so small portions is the way to go! :) Oh and I love their cheese assortment.. so good!!

Got really awesome new shoes too! I absolutely LOVE it. It's perfect for summer and school! They remind me of Topshop's WISTERIA wedges which look very similar except they're heels and not flats, so these are just perfect cause I get them to wear on a casual day. :)

Irene's 18th

Attended my friend's really awesome party at Palms last night. We were all asked to be in white so I decided to wear this dress I got in H&M last sembreak which I was saving for a summer date. Fortunately, this event came up so the dress was just perfect!

The debut was probably the best one I've been to.. from the food, to the program, to the entire SET-UP of the place.. it was just so.. WOW. In Steph's words: "It's so 90210!!!"

Irene (the birthday girl), had the entire pool area closed down for her party and she had it set up in a way we never imagined. Everything was just perfect. Who could imagine the poolside being THAT grand?? It had a stage with concert lights and everything! AAHHH It was AMAZING. There was not a dull moment in her debut :) Super fun. Street Fuzion XI: Reconnect

Hey guys! This year so far has been extremely hectic. January-Feb was my busiest month of the school year. And let me tell you why, its because of

It's UP Street Dance Club's annual concert coming this March 5. We've been preparing non-stop for this event. Practices from 5-10pm everyday and starting next week, till 12midnight. Even the crew is really prepping up working on props, the stage, and backdrops. Everyones on their toes to ensure that this event will be a success.

The event is going to be huge! There are going to be a lot of performances from the club, The Crew, alumni, imports from other schools, and maybe even surprise performances from other guests! On other news, I got a pair of pretty awesome shoes last night! They're for our concert since I have this one outfit I dont have shoes to match with. Plus, my old Nike's are on their verge of death (I think they've been around for 4 years already..) so I think its about time to have a back-up replacement.

Adidas Mattitude Logo W

Adidas has been interesting lately. I dont know if I'm just late or what. But I really like their line, Adidas Originals. The stuff that they've been releasing lately have really caught my eye. I dont know for how long already they've been producing these items but I really like them! Even the clothes! Definitely my style. Looks like I'll be frequenting Adidas more often.

Oh and speaking of shoes, my mother surprised me with a shoe shelf after my 3 week long stay in Katipunan last January. I was so happy when I saw it because I've always wanted a display shelf for my shoes. When it comes to shoes, I usually go for those that are different and unique in style so having them on display is just lovely simply because I get to see them all lined up pretty all the time. Sadly, I havent been able to wear any of them in ages because of school where I'm on the run 24/7.

Anyhoo, I guess thats enough updates for now. I still have a ton of updates to do (On my really awesome fieldtrips last January!!!) but I guess that will have to wait atleast till after our concert finishes. Dont forget, March 5! Hope to see you there!

So this is very late, but I turned 18 last year, December 30, 2010. I never had the chance to blog about it because of my busy schedule but alas I have found time to do so :)

My celebration consisted of a very intimate cocktail party with a few of my closest friends. I didnt want anything too big cause I'm not really a fan of so much prepping for just one night. I really enjoyed though and it was great having my bestest friends with me! I couldnt be more thankful for everyone who came :)

Those Will Be The Best Memories

So here I am again, posting another WHAT I WAS DOING WHILE I WAS MIA post. School's just been so busy, plus, I havent been in the mood for any outfit posts lately for some unknown reason. It's now Christmas break and I actually have time to do some little blogging although I'm not promising any new outfit posts. My break isnt really a break as I have a ton of schoolwork to work on (Papers and projects here and there..) and I've been working on my 18th birthday party which is on the 29th (I turn 18 on December30!).

If you're wondering on what exactly I've been up to this second sem, well, I'm now officially a member of both UP Street and Arki Forum. The whole application for both orgs have definitely paid off! I've also had my first gig with UP Street which was in the Grand Opening of Resort's World here in Manila. That gig was such a privilege and I'm so proud to have been a part of it. Other events I've taken part in were AF Bigay-Kaya (an annual outreach program of our org), Facadeista, and the UP Lantern Parade (which was amazing! Fine Arts students have the best floats!). I also attended the debuts of my two closest friends, Kristen and Michie. It was nice reconnecting with everyone there. I was also allowed to sleepover for the FIRST time with my barkada in Tagaytay. We all felt so independent there... cooking our own food and all.. really felt the holiday spirit!

Finally, theres the UP Street photoshoot for Street Fuzion. Now THATS something you should ALL watch out for. There are some behind the scenes teasers that I included for all of you to see. Street Fuzion is the annual event of UP Street which showcases the talents of the members. We're gonna be working real hard on this event starting January next year so watch out for it! Scheduled date is MARCH 5, 2011 =)

So Christmas, and my birthday is coming up. And we sort of have a little Secret Santa going on in our barkada, so we all had to post our wishlist. Since its my birthday too soon, then I decided to make just one wishlist for everything. Hihi.

DREAM BAG

Today I finally got my DREAM BAG. A CHANEL!!!!!! Ohmygoodness. I've waited forever for this time to come. I've wanted a Chanel ever since I could remember. And I finally got it! My very own FIRST designer bag. The designer bags that I wore some times were all borrowed from my mom.. but now.. I have my own. And I have it all to myself!!! I couldnt be anymore happier. Happiest day of my life. 11/02/10

It was Halloween on this day. My dad, sis, and househelp went to Disneyland to celebrate Halloween there but my mom and I didnt wanna come since we've had enough of that place. So we went shopping around the area instead.

I finally got my happy back. I think it really is true when they say that the clothes you wear reflect you. However fun last sem was, there was just something about it which makes me think and makes me reflect on myself. It was like I had a totally different side of me --something I havent explored before. I was out of control.

I guess thats what college gives. Especially on your first year. You take risks, take chances, try everything you could possibly do. And thats exactly what I did. And now, looking back, I can see how it took a toll on me. I wasnt genuinely happy, because for some reason, I felt like I was doing something wrong, no matter how much I enjoyed it. It wasnt me to do those things. And it still isnt. If you noticed, my past outfits have been all in the shades of black or gray. Dark colors. I guess that in the end, you could say that yeah, what I wore reflected how I felt during the sem. At some point, you can say that I was pretty messed up. It was one wild wild ride. I mean, who wouldnt be messed up juggling the application for TWO intense orgs, social life, and acads? All that, added a TTh schedule of 7am-530pm, a 530pm dismissal everyday, PLUS training, anyone would be bound to break somewhere.

All this I realized in this little "break" of mine. I was just doing so much things all at the same time that I just popped and let loose. Now that I'm back home for sembreak, I just realized how carefree and peaceful life is over here at the South. Its nice being home and just being grounded, enjoying the simpler things. I miss being the homegirl that I am. And now, after a few days of reflecting, I am proud to say that I am back. Its been a long time since I've felt like this.

It's good to be home.

I'm back! And it seems I'm going to be blogging again since its finally our sembreak and it is one month long. Over the semester I've put on a few pounds, changed my hairstyle three times, and went from different fashion styles.

You'll be seeing me wearing jeans more often now since I've gotten a bit conscious of my thighs after putting on some weight. I will do try to lose it this sembreak though (Although I ALWAYS say this but it never happens so dont really rely on it :))).

School's been amazing, that was definitely the best for a first semester in college :)

Finally got my hands on the Forever21 boots I've been eyeing for ages. Saw them on the site a good one or two months ago and I was just dying to have them. When they finally opened in Manila, I wasnt sure whether they were going to have stocks of these shoes there, especially since I thought that the branch here would get old and unwanted stocks. But I was wrong.

Unknowingly, I went to Forever21 last Monday just to go check it out. I never visited the shop since its opening but I just knew that Monday was the perfect day to visit it --and it was. No crowd whatsoever. And then I saw the shoes. THE SHOES. Theres actually a pretty long story to that. I first saw them on a mannequin and just wanted to buy them immediately. I asked an assistant for help regarding the shoes and she said there were no more stocks! --that it was the last pair left, in either size 8 or 9, and that they had it ever since the opening so its already run out. She actually asked another sales person and she said the same thing that there were no more stocks. At first I asked her if she could remove it from the mannequin, but she said they cant. Asked her if I could come back the next day for it, but she said they only change the mannequin's outfits every after each new stock delivery. I was really fighting for it because I wanted them ever since I saw it on the site. But I had no other choice. I had to give them up. Atleast, for a month or until they get new stocks. Hence, I just asked her if I could give her my number and if they could give me a call once they get new stocks of it (Yes, I had to go through ALL that). She actually even told me that they only get stocks of a certain item ONCE so it is very unlikely that they will get new stocks of it. Yet I persisted. I told her that I really wanted them bad so I'll just leave my number and she'd give me a call once they have them. She agreed.

After the whole thrill and adrenaline rush with the shoes, I looked around the store more. And thats when I saw the shoes and bags area. The shop was so big that I missed it the first time I went through it. I walked closer, and there they were, FIVE STOCKS of the same ankle boots that the sales assistant earlier stated were "OUT OF STOCK." So I looked for my size (8!) and got all giddy when they had it. At the same time, I was pretty pissed off because I couldnt believe I just went through all that with a sales personnel who didnt know what she was talking about. Parang hello, ginagago mo ba ako? I mean like, I understand with all the items F21 has in their store. But please, atleast train your personnel well enough to actually know where they're working and what they're selling. As much as it is a great store with fabulous items, it gets you down when you are surrounded with employees like that. I'm loving the shoes, but I expect better service next time. Forever 21 has a name to live up to, people!

School So Far

Ah, I have missed this blog! The plates really have been accumulating.. but its fine, I would REALLY much rather draw more than anything. I havent had any real REAL test in my GE's yet (except for that 9/15 quiz I got in Comm3..) so I still cant tell how my grades will come out this year. Grading system in UP is 1-5, 1 being the highest, and so far, my lowest is a two (circles.. guhhh!). We do have a Geol long exam next Friday though so that'll be my first. Wish me luck!

Anyhoo, these are pictures from our group project in Comm 3. Each group member was to choose his/her favorite place in our school and the whole group had to have their picture taken in that area. It was pretty enjoyable and the group was really able to bond more (As if our bond wasnt already tight enough =))). One of my groupmates, RJ, brought an SLR with a video function so I was just going CRAZY! He brought a tripod as well so we had no problems in taking our pictures. Unfortunately, since it was all tripod-shot, some pictures arent focused the way I planned them to be. But its fine, what matters is that we enjoyed doing this project. :)

The picture above is us with Zorro, our school "mascot". He's always around the campus dressed like that doing God knows what.

Oh and before I leave, the top I wore is Victoria's Secret and the shorts are Topshop. Been eyeing them since they came out but they went out of stock so when Topshop had them back in, I just had to get them. Heeyy, Topshop has a good collection out this season! I'm definitely getting a lot of stuff from there sooonn :)

I was inspired to make an outfit post since its been forever since I last dressed up and I felt like my clothes needed some loving soo here! This is what I wore to the mall to get new glasses and to get my sim card fixed. I changed to my mother's Gucci wedges for the mall though, since the heels I had on in the picture are too high. Just wore them for the pic cause I dont really have a decent picture in them yet. I actually wore them out to Fashion Week but I didn't have the chance to document my outfit that day. I super love these shoes!! Its my favorite find from NY I think. They are just so gorgeous!

My school uniform. They interchange every other week --one week in V-necks, and the next in plaid. I figured since I'm dorming, it'll be hard to pick out clothes every other week so having a uniform is the best remedy. Not so bad actually since it has lessened my "things to worry about" when packing.

So my plates have been accumulating this past week. I have three plates to make for Mechanical Drawing, and two for Free-hand. I've been so busy which is why I can really reassure you that my updates will just keep getting less until I get buried in all the plates I have to do. It was just that I was inspired to make a blog post that I decided to update. There's just too much happening in fashion right now that I couldnt just NOT blog about. For one thing, Mango has started their end of season sale last week (which I havent been to yet because of my hectic schedule !!!) while Topshop is having their sale on July 1 and 2 and Zara is having theirs on the first week of July although there is no exact date yet. Also, FOREVER 21 is opening in Manila on July 2 in SM Megamall. It's a big thing because its FOREVER 21 we're talking about. I dont know what to feel about it though. A part of me is disheartened because now everyone's going to be able to have the same thing and having something from F21 wont make you unique anymore (hahaha how seelfishh!). Although another part of me is ecstatic because that means we dont need to go abroad for our dose of Forever21! Also, having Forever21 here just makes us ALMOST as good a shopping mecca as Hongkong or Singapore! In my opinion, having F21 in Manila will increase tourism somehow especially since shopping at F21 Philippines will DEFINITELY be cheaper than in other countries considering the dollar conversions.

I still dont know if I will be attending the opening because one things for sure, there will be a LOT of people on that day hence I doubt I will be able to shop properly. I'm actually going through a shopping withdrawal right now -- I dont know if I should shop or not, because in all honesty, I still have a bunch of unused stuff here in my closet and I'd feel guilty if I buy another set of clothes, dump them all in, and wait for decades till I'm able to wear them. I even have shoes that I havent worn yet!! And it sucks because right now I'm eyeing this pair from the Forever21 site and I'd probably freak if I found it laying there on July 2. If I get the shoe, I KNOW that I wont be wearing it anytime soon since I still have two others waiting to be worn.

On the other hand, I WANT to go on the first day though because I just KNOW that there will be a lot on stake. I feel like theres this item that will be gone by the first day and I'm just too scared to let that happen. Hahaha! I just have this urge to go there and grab everything I love!

It's still on Friday though so I have time to think. There's lots of pros and cons to going there so I'm definitely taking that into consideration (class starts at 1pm, i have to take a trike, an LRT, and an MRT to get there, etc.). If all else fails, maybe I'll just wait for the fad to die down --and for my workload to lessen-- till I finally visit there. Buutt, I will let you know what happens for sure (even if it takes a lifetime before I get to update!). Till then!!

College

So this will probably be my last post in a long time since I'm already in college and I believe that I will have to devote my time to it. I'm a freshman in the University of the Philippines and I think that it will take me time to get used to everything especially since I am already dorming. School's been great so far and I am LOVING it. Of course, there are a number of (very minor) downsides to the school like unbearable heat, very long distances from building to building, not very clean washrooms, no aircon, and did I mention unbearable heat? But even so, it seems like this is what characterizes my university to be what it is. Without these, my experience in U.P would be far from what I am experiencing now. I wouldn't have a sense of fulfillment after finally reaching a certain building, I wouldn't have the senseless conversations with my friends about the heat (and pretending that it was actually cold), I wouldn't appreciate airconditioning, and I wouldn't have been able to acquire "simple joys" or what we call in Filipino "mababaw na kaligayahan."

I guess being in U.P even for just a week has already taught me many things. Everything in U.P is simple. From the food, to the utilities, to the people. It's really very humbling actually. It teaches you how to get along with all types of people and it teaches you to appreciate even the littlest things in life. It opens you up to a world where you realize what really IS important. It's funny cause when I was in highschool it was all about the trends. As students, we didnt really have much to worry about cause everything was given to us. We all had drivers who'd pick us up and drop us off. But now, its like every man for himself. Well, for me atleast. It was here where I realized that wow, I dont need a driver.. or a helper.. or parents and teachers watching over me. I can do this all by myself and I can survive because actually, it IS how the real world goes. This is what most people go through and maybe I was just one of those more privileged ones who was able to experience a lifestyle where I had a lot of help behind me.

Basically, my school inspired me.

To become a better person. To be a hard worker. To become independent. To be responsible. To be more down to earth. To be helpful. To be kind.

To appreciate others.

Appreciating others is one lesson that I have really learned from this school. Everyone here seems so nice and humble. Despite the label of "ISKOLARS NG BAYAN", you wont see an inch of pride in them. These people.. they dont go around bragging their achievements. And this is someone I want to be. That's why I went to this school in the first place. Because I wanted to be grounded. I wanted to be more simple. Honestly, I am probably very far from simple right now (I mean, I have a FASHION blog.. wheres the simple in that?) but I guess everything has to start somewhere. And I am starting here. In a little blog filled with dreams and inspirations.

All in all, U.P has been great to me and I wish that it will continue to treat me well. There arent much specific experiences that I've cited here but I hope that somehow you guys were able to get an idea of what it's been like through my words. For me, choosing this school was a good choice for myself. As I've told other friends before, "I wouldnt have experienced this anywhere else." :)

The Capitol

Finally in Washington. My favorite place out of all the cities we visited!! The weather was perfect.. the architecture was impeccable.. every single thing there seemed to be in their right spot. It was so peaceful. It didnt have as much people as in New York. It was calm and quiet. Definitely my cup of tea.

So on me is the parka I got from Century 21 for like what, 80-90% off? The original price on this was $295 and I got it for only $60. Cool huh! This was supposedly the jacket that I was going to buy for the extremely cold weather in New York. Unfortunately, I bought it on our last day in NY so it didnt serve its purpose much. It's been quite handy for the Philippine weather these days though. Been raining non-stop and I've been running to it for water-proof-lazy-outfit-days. Just this parka and some boots and I'm good to go!

Really loved Washington. We basically went around The Mall which includes monuments such as the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial, The Capitol, The Smithsonian Museums (which featured the HOPE diamond --the biggest diamond in the world-- among other things), and of course, The White House. Although there arent much places to visit, (it can be toured in just a day or two) I still love it simply for its ambiance. I dont know, I guess I'm not really drawn to the upbeat cities and the like. Although I love a little party once in a while, I'm still a laid back type of person (which is why LA will alwaaaaaayyss be my favorite!). This post will be the last from the bunch since I barely wore anything nice in Orlando anyway. The theme parks were great though! Maybe one day when I'm bored and I have nothing more to post I will do an update on our Orlando trip but for now, I shall leave you with this. Till then!

Central Park

The day my feet hurt like a bitch. Wish I could turn back time and chose to wear something more comfortable.. but I already had this outfit planned waaaayy long ago and not wearing those shoes would just ruin everything! The shoes were too gorgeous to pass but who knew they could hurt this bad?

I swore off flat shoes after my experience on this day. I realized that the PAIN I get from wearing cheap flat shoes is worse than when I'm wearing cheap high heels. So whatever situation, I think I will just always go for the heels instead. For me, its either heels or rubbershoes. No other option. Haha!

Soo I didnt take much pictures on our last day so I will cram both days on this post instead. We visited Central Park (which was really painful for me to walk :'(), The American Museum of Natural History, and The MET. We also watched Lion King on broadway on the first night (which was SUPERB, btw!!!), and went shopping on the second.

We visited numerous museums on this trip that by the time we got to the MET, we were already tired out of wits thus having not much pictures taken there. I also really wanted to get my picture taken in front of the MET but it unfortunately rained that day. I wish I could have stayed longer in the MET but I was really just too tired already (plus I wanted to go shop) The art works in the museums we visited were amazing but next time I think I'd set a big gap between going to the museums since it gets boring easily.

A. Wang Knock Offs

Just a little commercial before I proceed with my vacation posts. (The outfits are getting sooo boring! I told you so!)

In the outfit are three of the items I scored while in the States. One is the plaid top which I bought in two other colors and is also part of my planned school "uniform", the black pumps from Charlotte Russe which I scored for such a great price!, and the most awesome knock-off bag from Wetseal...

The main focus of this outfit would be the bag though. I was in Orlando when I first spotted the bag. It was hanging waaaaayy up inside the store almost near the ceiling. When I saw it I was just like OMG!!! Its an Alexander Wang bag knock-off!! It was like love at first sight. When I got it from its rack, I just couldnt get my hands off it. So ofcourse, I took it home.

Got so much other goodies to wear out and I just cant wait to show it to you guys!! :)

Where The Grass Is Greener

As the days get by, the pictures lessen. I guess thats because I start to lose my enthusiasm in taking the photos. Plus, I get more and more tired each day. Well, thats a good thing right.. less bandwith for you to download... hahaha!

So on this day we went on our Statue of Liberty trip!! To Staten Island and Ellis Island we go! The weather today was more manageable so we were able to just go around with our shirts although at some points it would get a wee bit cold again so I had to put the hoodie back on. The hoodie is one of the products designed by my batchmates for our Economics project. Pretty cool huh! It comes in different batch numbers (Class of 2010, Class of 2011, 2012, and so on..) and in four colors: blue, red, neon pink, and neon yellow. I got the blue cause its simple and easy to wear :)

Aside from downtown, we also visited Brooklyn (Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory!!!) and the Grand Central Terminal. What I like about New York is that (as what my dad said) the subways make places that are far away so much nearer. You can go from Uptown to Brooklyn in no time. Oh, I was also so starstruck to have been in the Grand Central Terminal! Gossip Girl!! Oohh, I could just marvel at its beauty. Really amazing!

How Sweet It Is?

Second day in New York. This is the day we saw most of the city. We visited Times Square which was really cool! Oprah was also having her event there when we arrived so we chanced upon her! Apart from touring the city, we also visited the Rockefeller Center wherein you can spot most of New York's hotspots from the top of the building such as the Empire State and Central Park. Other places we visited were the Museum of Modern Art, and we also stopped by the Flat Iron building and Union Square among other things.

What I Wore: Topshop leopard top, Vise Versa coat, Mango jeans and bag, New Balance rubbershoes.

So yes I had to wear rubbershoes (and you will see more of those rubbershoes later on) since it was all walk for us. New York was freezing cold on this day and I really froze to death in which I practically had to run back to our hotel at night since I couldnt take the cold anymore. As mentioned earlier, I thought it was going to be warm so I didnt have much coats or jackets with me. This coat is something I just wear to Tagaytay so you can imagine how cold I felt. At the end of the day though, I was still able to survive it all. Hihi.

New York, New York

Okay, so I dont know how to exactly go about my next few blog posts since my experience over in the East Coast was overwhelming with a trillion pictures and a lot of things to tell you guys. I think I'll start with a little background of our trip, then.

-So we were going to visit the East Coast, namely New York, Washington D.C, and Florida. We didnt have any relatives in the places mentioned above so this was really a solo flight for us. We didnt use a travel agent either so everything was all up to us. From the booking of tickets, to planning our itinerary, etc.

- Mom couldnt come because of her work so it was only me, my sister, and my dad.

- I thought that the weather over in New York was going to be warm so most (if not all) of the clothes I had with me were summer clothes. I ended up freezing to death.

- I wasnt allowed to bring high heels by my dad (I'm never allowed to wear heels when he's around) since it was always crunch time for us. Endless walking and maybe a little running. Thus, I do not have much outfit pictures. (I know right.. of all places to not be fashionable, it had to be in New York!!)

So, without further ado, here are the photos from our first day in New York :)

So the plan was to just go around the areas near our hotel after arriving from the airport but since for some reason we ended up in the entrance of the Empire State Building, we decided that we'll start touring around already. Obviously, the empire state was the first on our list.

If it was already so cold on flat ground, what more on top of an 80++ story high building? Well, thats what we experienced on top of the Empire State Building. Unimaginably cold with the terribly strong wind piercing our skin. Crazy, but it was an enjoyable experience as well seeing everyone trying to survive the wind outside and experiencing it first hand.

All About the Make-up

I've always wanted to create an Effy (Kaya Scodelario from Skins) inspired make-up look. Effy had this one scene in Skins where her eyes just looked so glamorous that I was inspired to redo it. I never had the tools to remake this look before but a week ago I went make-up shopping and I finally bought some really good make-up to create my own inspired look.

Everything I used is basically from Etude House (I've never been this addicted to make-up since Etude House came out). On me are Etude House's: BB Cream (doubled as foundation), Shine up Stick No.1 in White, Petite Darling Eyes in Aqua, Eye Secret in Shiny Black, Proof 10 Auto Pencil Black, and Code B Proof 10 Mascara Strong Smoky in Black. Other brands I used was this make-up palette from an unknown brand (which I used for my blush and powder), and of course, my favorite Faceshop lipstick in Lovely Pink.

The outcome was a bit accurate but next time I think I'd add more eyeshadow to make it darker since the shadow I put on wasnt sufficient for the camera. Also, maybe more black eyeshadow on the lower lid to give it a more grunge effect.

So yes, I THINK this is my last post for now. My trip is this Saturday and I will be gone for a good two weeks. Then another two more weeks after my trip and its time for college! Woowweee time is going by so fast! Well, thats about all for now. Till my next post!

Okay so that wasn't my last post in three weeks. Went out with my family today and I was just ITCHING to wear my new jeans from Forever21 so here they are making a cameo appearance on this post. I'm bringing them to NY so you'll see more of it later on.

So I know I mentioned that I despise wearing jeans but thats only because the jeans here in Manila are so tight and LOW. When I went to Singapore and spotted these ripped jeans, I instantly fell in love with them. More so when I tried them on and they fit PERFECTLY! I was AMAZED because you just dont know how many jeans I've tried here in Manila that never fit well. I was so happy that I finally found a brand that fits perfectly. Cant wait for my trip to the States! Definitely going to stock up on good fitting jeans to wear for school!

This will be my last post in three weeks unless another event comes up before I leave Manila. Sorry I look so haggard but its been really hot lately and these pictures were taken after a long busy day. I really wanted to take these pictures outside but unfortunately the rain stopped me from doing so.

So here I am channeling the new blogger-favorite nail color: blue green. It's been on every fashion blogger's site, karen-wheredidugetthat.blogspot.com and stylescrapbook.com to name a few. What can I say, it IS a very eye-catching color.

I also bought a couple of bangles this afternoon to complete the look. In fact, I actually bought a few other accessories that my boyfriend told me to stop. I dont know, but sometimes accessories seem so cheap that you wanna buy them all but when their prices all pile up, it actually equates to a big amount of money! But ah, I barely even have accessories so my boyfriend will have to let it pass this time.

It was our last day in Singapore today where we did our last minute shopping meaning just minutes before our shuttle from the hotel was leaving for the airport. Good thing our hotel was very near to the mall where we had lunch so it was easy for us to just run it.

On me are the boots I got from New Look which are just amazing. They are my new favorite shoes. Couldnt stop wearing them! I had to wear them today since I was afraid my luggage would go overweight --I bought a lot of stuff from our trip not to mention the two pairs of heels that I had already brought along with me.

After shopping at New Look, it had already become my favorite shop and I can definitely put it to the level of Forever21. I was actually really amazed at the pieces because the quality was good and they were all so cheap especially the sale items! There were some dresses and shorts for only SG $20 which means thats around 650 PHP or 13 USD. Also, the shoes were just to DIE for! They had a wide array of shoes from flats, to sandals, to sky high heels, to boots, and to rubbershoes, ALL for such cheap prices ranging from SG $20 to SG $60 (650 PHP to 1,800 PHP MAX / 13 USD to 38 USD MAX). These boots for example, were a pair I got along with these blue pumps. They even had a promo where if you spend SG $100 or more on their store, you get SG $15 from your total bill. Cool huh!

Unfortunately, New Look is only available in areas around Europe, in Egypt, Dubai, and Singapore. I was really expecting it to have a branch in the States but surprisingly theres none! Guess I'll just have to ask people to shop for me there! Hee hee.

All in all, my trip to Singapore was great! Really enjoyed hanging out with my bestfriend, touring the city, and shopping till we drop! Would definitely not trade this experience for anything else. I loved it and I sure do hope there will be more to come! xx

Dont Cry, Buy A Bag And Get Over It

What's a vacation without spending on the best things life has to offer a woman? Clothes, bags, shoes... my bestfriend and I just knew that we had to get a taste of this from Singapore and so, we allotted one day just for this favorite hobby of ours: shopping.

What I Wore: Zara dress, Mango shoes, Mango bag.

We visited Ion Orchard which was full of everything you can possibly think of, from top designer brands to the cheapest SG $10 shoes. That mall was practically complete with all the shops you can find around Singapore although I prefer 313 Sommerset more just because of the FOUR levels of Forever 21 and their better stocks of items from New Look. New Look, by the way, is my new favorite store with reasons I will explain in my next post. Also, I changed to slippers after taking these pictures since I can't possibly walk the whole Orchard Road wearing those sky high heels.

Shopping is definitely a must in Singapore. Not as cheap as Hongkong, but if order and variety is what you're looking for, then you can definitely find it here. Also, I think it is more calming to shop in a place like this. The environment is just so peaceful and it isn't as distracting as other places say for example Hong Kong or New York. Not to mention, it is VERY safe such that Steph and I would go home at 11pm every night from shopping.

I never really knew what it meant to shop till you drop until today. I'm usually restless when it comes to shopping but I guess it was the heat and the long strip of Orchard Road that got me. Shopping was great though! Absolutely loved it.

Roaming The City

Today was probably the most hectic day of our entire trip. My Sanuks already actually gave up on me which resulted to my blisters. This pair is around three years old anyway so I think its about time for replacing. I'm thinking TOMS. I've tried a pair before and they were really comfy so I think its not such a bad choice.

On my outfit here I am wearing a hat I got from Forever21 and the same shorts I wore in the previous post except folded. The hat is something that I really intended to buy in Singapore just for this outfit. I just KNEW that there were going to be many hats such as this so I didnt really have to worry about the outfit. Gorgeous though, dont you agree? Gotta love Forever21.

Really fun day! The highlight of the night would be watching Songs of the Sea in Sentosa (see last 3 pictures above) which was a lights and sounds show held at the beach. It's a must watch for anyone who decides to visit Singapore :)

Bye Bye Manila

Today we left Manila for Singapore. I dont normally pack like this (one trolley bag). I usually just have a back-pack with me with one pair of jeans, maybe shorts, some shirts, and rubbershoes. But I have a blog now, and I knew I wont be able to do this when I get to New York, so I decided to make the most out of this trip.

By the way, my Blackberry service died on me minutes before departing so I wasn't able to go online nor tweet the whole time. Upon arriving we were greeted by the beautiful streets and architectural buildings of Singapore. We arrived just in time for the Night Safari which was at 6:30pm. Afterwards, Steph and I walked around Orchard Road until all the shops closed and it was time to go.

It was Nina's graduation dinner the other night. She specifically told me "TRISHA, its CASUAL okay?" and so, casual it was. Just wore a Topshop body suit with a plaid cover-up and ofcourse, flat sandals.

It was a good night spent with friends. Yummy food too! Her giveaways were the multi-colored pillows which we sat on during the party. So cute!

Graduation

Finally graduated two nights ago. The last night our batch will ever be complete.

I wasn't sad. Probably because I knew that I was going to see a lot of them again the next day. I wasn't THAT happy either. Well yes, I was happy, but not to the extent of a lot of other people. I think its because to me, graduation meant moving on to a higher level --college, which is something I am scared of as because I know that its going to be so much harder than highschool. But then, maybe right now I should just probably enjoy the remaining days of summer I have left with my friends and not worry about college yet. My time is short with them (especially since one is moving to the US and the other to Canada) and so, I must make the most out of it while I still can.

The people above are the people who made my highschool experience memorable. I'm never going to forget them.

Not much on the outfit today since I focused on the make-up. I really wanted to try on the aquamarine eyeshadow I got from Etude House the other day hence the simple outfit. I liked the effect of the shadow on my eyes. I blended it with silver though so it's not as seen. Also, I didnt have enough time to curl my lashes so my eyes give less of an impact. Unfortunately, the make-up didnt photograph well so the aquamarine seems very minimal. Looks great iRL though!

Also, I seem to have gotten a tan. Or maybe I was always this color but I just noticed it now when I looked at my photos. It's probably the change in foundation that made the difference. I was always used to the shade of the lighter powder based foundation which I used for about a year.

On me are: Body Shop cream foundation in #5, Body Shop brown eyeliner, Face Shop lipstick in Lovely Pink, No brand cream & silver eyeshadow, No brand blush in Orange, Etude House aquamarine eyeshadow.

It was a friend's birthday today so she treated us out for dinner. On me is a thrifted dress I got from a trip to Tagaytay with my boyfriend. I also tried out the new foundation that I got from Body Shop. The foundation I used before was powder type and now I switched to cream and I must say that the coverage is better now and it doesnt look as off as before.

What I Wore: Thrifted dress, Aldo leopard print boots, Coach sling bag, Black blazer.

After the dinner, Steph and I checked out Etude House which is a new Korean cosmetic store which opened here in the South. Its my new favorite. The make-up is really cheap (P148 for an eyeshadow compact) and they have unique items for sale. I'm definitely coming back for more. They have an amazing choice of lipstick! Cant wait to try out their other products :)

Its my dad's birthday today which we spent together as a family :) We had lunch at Wagyu, a steakhouse in Eastwood.

The food was fairly average. Pretty expensive for the steak but I guess it's because it's WAGYU meat which makes it more special than the usual. (Example: A slab of Wagyu steak was worth 30k PHP while we bought the same size of steak at Costco for only 6k PHP before) Restaurant SERVICE on the other hand is another totally different thing. The service was amazing. All the employees were so nice and accommodating. I felt like a princess!

The pumpkin soup tasted just like any normal pumpkin soup would. I've tasted better.

My slab of steak served on hot cobblestone. I felt like I was cooking rather than eating most of the time since the steak was sizzling so much and I would get hit by the oil.

It was our Pre-Grad last Saturday and it was themed 80's meaning legwarmers, leggings, and loose tees.

So this is what I wore. I was finally able to wear my lighting leggings out since it suited the theme. I had this since last year but I never dared to wear it in public since I didnt have much to match with it. I paired the leggings with a loose crop top from Zara mixed with accessories such as the big square shaped earrings (which is so 80's!), an owl necklace, a yellow bead bracelet, an excercise headband, and a LEGO ring.

Why I Am Dying This Week

So much for summer. It just keeps getting more hectic as each day passes by. I think the only time I'll be getting some peace is during Holy Week and after that I resume to all the work that needs to be done.

So this is my schedule for the next few days to come:

Tomorrow I'm going with my family to the Crocs supersale (90% off) early morning at 7am. My dad's a big fan of Crocs so yeah. Then on the evening of tomorrow its our pre-grad and we're performing.

On Monday its our retreat but I'm not attending. If I dont need to be in school, I plan to just have my boy over. On Tuesday, I have a streetdance test in U.P for advanced P.E at 4pm. The following day I have a volleyball test for the same reason which will be at 4:30pm. Thursday is rest day (I HOPE). Then on Friday, its our tribute for the auxillary where we will be dancing.

I'm not sure if I will be attending any party on that Friday since one, I know I'm going to be exhausted, and two, its my dad's birthday the next day and I dont wanna tire him. So yes, since its my dad's birthday on the 27th we're obviously going to be out again. On Sunday of that weekend, its my cousin's birthday celebration so thats another thing to attend.

Aside from all the things already listed on my schedule, I still have a lot of things to prepare. For one, I need to fix my DSWD papers for Singapore (I'm only travelling with one parent so I need my father's letter of approval). Then my dad also wants me to start fixing our itinerary for our trip in May.

There are also parties which need to be planned above all this. Hopefully they will still push through despite the busy schedule.

cRave: A Chocolate Rave

Last night was the chocolate party hosted by U.P's Junior Marketing Association at The Grove by Rockwell. Really cool party and the house was full! Great venue as well. There were two mobile bars --one serving chocolate liquor and the other serving flaming shots, a photobooth, and a chocolate fountain. A fashion show was also held during the party. All in all I can say that it was a really successful fundraiser.

I had a really great time at the party. U.P really does host amazing parties. Cant wait for the next!

Last week I was finally able to get my hands on a new little toy

Whats in it? Well, none other than the latest Blackberry Bold 9700. For the past weeks I couldnt sleep just thinking about this phone so you can just imagine my excitement when I finally got my hands on it!

After a week of usage I can already tell you what great of a phone this is. Everything I need is all packed in this little device not to mention its additional Blackberry services features. Here's a little preview Yahoo! Messenger on the phone:

Of course the services require a price. With Globe its P50/day, P220/5days, and P1200/30days. In fairness, the features of this phone are almost at par with some other phones. For a business phone you wouldnt expect such a great camera resolution but compared to my old LG Viewty (which is a 5 mp camera phone), I prefer the camera of this one especially since everything is just a click away. Sending messages with it is a breeze as well! Just one click and your message sends right away unlike other phones that need two steps to send a message.

This device has functionality at its best. With this Blackberry Bold 9700, everything you need will be at the palm of your hands. If you havent got one, GET one. Try it and see for yourself. ;)

Prom 2: Par La Nuit

Okay, I just realized that these proms have all these names I dont even know the translation of. I'm sure most know the translation of the themes but too bad for me since I never pay attention. Hahaha!

So, what I wore to MY prom.

The theme was avant-garde and so I decided to pull off some hot pink lipstick and white sparkly eyes with a turquoise dress. I got the dress at Warehouse while the shoes are by Desu from Rustans.

The prom was definitely fun. Good job to the guys behind all of it. The program was well prepared and well thought of. (Not to mention, the food was superb too! --well, compared to last week's prom.) My lovely two or three year old David and Goliath wallet finally gave up on me last week after its many years of service.

I really love this wallet especially since theres so much space inside and the material has gotten really soft with time. Its so spacious yet it remains thin even with the tons of things I have in it. Unfortunately, it was already time for replacing since the button had already fallen off.

Whats in the wallet: A ton of pictures from the past (the oldest dates back to when I was grade 7), A pile of receipts from shopping at L.A two years ago, My grades from the review class last summer, My ATM, license, students I.D, and ofcourse, money.

The old wallet was replaced with this new Ninewest purse which was a gift to me a year ago. I get a lot of purses as gifts so it takes long before I actually get to use everything.

The purse itself has such a sturdy material (I dont know if thats supposed to make it more durable?) and it gets bulky when filled unlike my old one. It's definitely smaller than the other though I'd have to say that I really like its design. Very classic! I guess the bulky-ness takes time to get used to but hopefully I'll break it in soon!

Prom 1: Bella Notte

This is what I wore to my boyfriend's prom. The dress was originally supposed to be for my prom but I found out a lot of my batchmates are just going to be wearing dresses so I decided to wear this for his prom instead.

The gown is actually pretty cheap for a prom dress. I got it for only P3,095 or $60. I never really had any of my prom dresses made. In my opinion, its always better to buy because not only is it cheap, but you'll know how good you'll look in your dress rather than waiting for it to be made and being unsure of the outcome. I've had many friends in the past who got their dresses made and ended up looking worse than if they had just bought one instead. About the "I might have the same dress as someone!" problem, I never really bothered especially since the kids at my school are so conscious of having the same dress. Because of this, most of them get theirs made so obviously I wont have to worry about having the same dress as anyone even if I just bought.

Today was the last day of the U.P Fair which Steph and I attended. We didnt go in though because we had another event to attend which was the chocolate buffet at the HE Building.

I made sure to dress down today because U.P isnt exactly a place to get all glammed up. So here I am wearing my new favorite plain white tee from Zara, Converse shoes, Mango bag, and a new pair of shorts that I DIY'ed just this morning. They're not so perfect yet since I havent sewn them and stuff. I just folded them first since I didnt have the time to do any fixing.

Well now he knows about a lot of things including my drinking so that means no more lying, 3. I already got my dorm (where I went into my future room to see how my roommate decorated her area and I talked to my future next door neighbor who's Indonesian and studies in UP too) and last but not the least, 4. ITS MY FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH JICOY TOMORROW!! =)

Dad also unbelievably allowed me to go out with him for dinner tomorrow. What a change, right? I really think my life just keeps getting better!

The trench coat was borrowed from my mother. Its the perfect trench especially because of its light material which is perfect for our breezy weather. The coat wasnt the only thing borrowed, even the bag is my mom's (Yes, I get a loot of stuff from her closet). It reminds me of the YSL Muse bag, actually. I love bags like these since I can store a lot of my stuff in it. And yes, those are the Aldo boots I got last week. I actually wore them out last Saturday to a party but I left so early that I dont even have pictures in it so I decided to debut them on this post instead.

The University

Today I visited my *future* college. I wanted to see my building since I wanted to know exactly where it is. It's near the Economics & Business Administration building and the General Education building so its pretty accessible. My only concern is the sturdiness of the buildings. I even joked around with my family that if an earthquake with an intensity of 4 hits the Philippines, all the buildings in the university will come crashing down. But what the hell, I'm in for the education so why the hell not?

I also checked out Studio 87 with my family. I already have an option to dorm, though my parents are still going to review which is the better choice --dorming, or getting the driver to just drive me to school everyday. The first choice is obviously less hassle for me though, but we'll see.

The dorm is fantastic! Great ammenities and the place is very safe as well! And by safe, I mean REALLY safe to the point that your parents wont have to worry about you entertaining guests because even FATHERS arent allowed on the girls floor. They have cameras everywhere, theres a curfew at 10pm, and you have to get a permit when you wont be sleeping there. Despite the strict-ness of the dorm, I think that its still a good place to live in. Besides, there is also an option to be on the third floor where its much less strict. No finger encoding for the hallway so guests can come in anytime.

Anyway, after visiting the university and the dorm, we headed to TechnoHub, an Ayala Mall project.

It's a pretty cool place, but its just an attraction for food and restaurants.

The weather today was so cold by the way. I was originally wearing sandals with my shorts but my legs felt so bare so I decided to put on my boots instead. Lovely weather!

Finally, we headed to Greenbelt since I was planning on getting the Gucci Medium Boston Bag in green but unfortunately when we arrived, it was gone. I was so disheartened when I found out that they wont be having stocks of that exact bag anymore. I really wanted it since the leather was SO soft and I just felt in love with it when I saw it a few weeks back. On a lighter note, I got some other stuff from shopping at Greenbelt today. I shall post soon! =)

Family Day 2010

Yesterday's events were too many to summarize in one post but im going to try my best anyway.

For starters, my cousin died on the morning of Family Day. Also, in a span of one hour, Michie collapsed during a game and was brought to the ER, Bea Gorrez dislocated her knee, and Diana's sister fainted on the hard floor of the Esplanade.

No matter how negative the day already was though, the positive things still came to overcome the negativity somehow. Let me start with the morning of family day. Everyone is setting up and preparing for the parade!

This year, I was given the chance to design Gold's cheerdance costume. At first I was really scared since ONE, I didnt put as much effort into making it (unlike the jersey posted earlier which i super LOVED!), and TWO, because the prototype came out so badly. Fortunately, God was good to me and what do you know, the costume didnt turn out as bad as expected!

So anyway, on to the parade. I do not have pics of Red Team since Gold was to perform right after them and I had to prepare since I was also dancing. After our performance though, I grabbed the camera from my dad and got up the stage to take pictures right away. Unfortunately I wasnt able to install my 200mm lens so pardon me for the bad pictures.

At the end of the day, its not about the awards or honor that you received. It's about the teamwork and team spirit that you were able to establish among your team members and the act of camaraderie you gave towards your fellow team leaders.

CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE, most especially to the team captains and co-captains who exerted so much effort into making this whole thing possible. I will very much miss Intrams and GOLD TEAM!!! I will never forget my experience with Gold. Win or lose, its the team I choose! I LOVE GOLD! =)

Jersey Day

Intrams practice started on this day and we decided to wear our jerseys. The jersey is one of the many things I have designed for Gold team and I must say, this is the design I'm most proud of. I designed our jersey too last year which was a total fail so I'm really happy about the outcome of this one.

So, what do you do when you get your hands on something new and funky? Flaunt it ofcourse! And thats exactly what we did.

We seniors went wild in our little photoshoot. The above picture is us doing the best pyramid we can do. Hahaha!

It was also Triza's birthday which we all celebrated with her. Happy Birthday again Triz!

Tomorrow, its the general rehearsals for all teams. Wish us luck!

On Color and Hues

What I wore: Shirt from Burberry, Skirt and shoes from Mango, Bag from Liz Claiborne.

Something a little different. The shirt I'm wearing was a gift which I thought I would never wear due to its extremely loud color (especially for a collared shirt). Luckily I found a bag with the same level of loudness so I decided to match them up. It actually meshed well and I thought it looked great! A little loud for a smart casual outfit but fashionable anyway.

I WAS ACCEPTED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES!!

I am absolutely more than happy.
Its good to know that my hard work finally paid off.

Of course I wouldnt have done this without God so I offer this all up to him. =)

More on the acceptance, thanks, and the plans some other time. I still have school work to accomplish. Aaah!

Cramming The Work

The outfit is what I wore over to Kathleen's birthday celebration. She is officially 17 today! It was a good night of FUN. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATH!!!

My week is actually so filled. There are surprises and deadlines coming out every single day. College admission results have been coming out for one thing. Then we have two papers due on Monday, another on Tuesday, and a quiz each for Math and Calculus both on Monday. Not only that, but I also have a TON of photo submissions due for the yearbook. Add cheerdancing everyday to that and you have one hell of a hectic week. Atleast it's almost over now. By the end of this week, results of everything will be out. Results not only of college admissions, but also of which team will be taking first place in Family Day 2010.

After this week, its all going to be over. Well, atleast most of it will. And all we'll have to worry about is enrolling for college and fixing our transpo/dorms. And of course, graduating.

Time flies by so fast! Around 27 more school days before we go bye bye!
