I'm planning to miss out on food the whole week due to the weekend's events. It was insane. Buffet after buffet. And you all know me when it comes to food especially buffets, right? I've said this earlier in school but, during the weekend I ate enough for me to go on hibernation.

So yesterday was the Baptism of my cousin followed by the 85th Birthday of one of the lolos in my mom's side.

Woke up at around 630am again as usual to fix up (even though I slept at 3 the night before)and headed off to Church in St. Lourdes Manila for the Baptism. The ceremony was around 2 hours and afterwards we had the reception in Chinatown.

It was a pretty cool place. I thought it looked very different from before (last time I was there was around 7 years ago in the baptism of the celebrant's sister). Food was pretty much the same. I didnt get to take pictures of them though because it was a sit-down resto and I'd feel weird with everyone staring at me especially since I was seated with adults.

This is the baby who just became a part of the church :)

Isn't she a cutie? And I so loved her reception dress too. Pretty!

My prettiest cousins :)

We stayed in Manila for a while especially since even after the reception, my dad's siblings all went to my tito's house in Manila to talk about the plans for next week. We were there till around 7 till we decided to go to Vivere for the next party.

Well, we were kind of OFF theme because as mentioned, we came from a baptismal. The theme was Hawaiian. I tried my best to look Hawaiian so I just removed my blazer and untucked my top.

The food was healthy food (probably because they were all old people and definitely did NOT need any more cholesterol in their lives) and I just ended up eating a bit because we also just came from another event (I finished off the baptismal cake and cassava in my tito's house. =)))

What was on my plate: Asparagus salad, chicken pate`, fish paste, eggplant salad, and chocolate truffles.

The program of the party was great. It was really funny. His grandchildren did really good presentations which kept the audience laughing. It would surely be a memorable 85th birthday for him :)

So all in all, yesterday was pretty jampacked and yet it was really fun because I was able to spend time with my cousins on both sides of the family. I've also got to see some distant relatives that I havent seen in years so that made me glad.
