DisneySea

Late post if late, but here it goes! Our trip to Tokyo DisneySea last summer. I actually wrote an entire blog for this while we were on our trip (so I wouldnt have to come up with something to write again when I got back), but its at home in the South and I'm here at my dorm with nothing to do so I've decided to finally update this blog and just come up with a new post instead. It'll be short though since I've probably forgotten a lot of details I wanna say about this day.

What I Wore: Forever 21 sweater and skort, Marks and Spencer tights, Rustan's shoes, Zara bag.

So, all I can say is that DisneySea was amazing. Everytime we're abroad we always visit a certain Disney and this is probably our 4th/5th time in a Disney park. This trip was something really different though because it was to DisneySea! MOST AMAZING DISNEY PARK EVER. I love it there!!!! DisneySea was probably the most enjoyable Disney park I've been to. The scenery, the rides, the SHOWS. Everything! The rides and Disney characters that they featured in DisneySea were so fresh and new. Since its DisneySea, their parades were on water!!! It was AMAZING. When we came that day, we were able to watch 2 parades, one in the afternoon and another at night. Each featured a bunch of floats on water with a ton of different DisneySea characters. It was definitely an experience. Now this is one Disney park I'd go back to again and again and again :-)

First of Japan

I'm not really a travel person. I always said I'd rather go shopping or buy something expensive rather than travel. For my 18th bday, my dad offered me a trip to Europe instead of a debut (since he didnt see the essence in debuts --and I didnt either). I didnt want a trip to Europe though, so instead I asked for a Chanel bag which is something I've been wanting for a long time. I dont know, I guess I just find it a hassle to travel.

Japan to my dad is as how Korea is to me. Korea is everything to me and I've always just wanted to learn about their culture. I'm such a Korean fan that in my yearbook, I was predicted by my batchmates to eventually "evolve into a Korean." All my friends know how big Korea is in my eyes, and thats just how Japan is to my dad. Everything was planned a little bit last minute though, so we didnt exactly get the best bargain deals in everything. But since Dad's always been planning to have this trip, I guess he decided that its okay to be spending a lot for it. From our flights, to our hotel, everything was booked last minute. And since it was holy week, the more prices were expensive.

What I Wore: Mom's scarf, Zara shirt, sweater and bag, Topshop shorts, Rustan's flats.

So then we go. On the morning of our flight, I had breakfast at home -- the first I had in 3 days since I was trying to fit into these shorts. When we arrived at the airport, we went to eh MIASCOR lounge where I started to regret eating bfast. Dad said there would be snacks --but not as good as the ones in the buffet standing right there!! Akala ko tipong mga ensaymada lang! But they even had beer! Unli beer! Being the party girl that I am, I was amazed at the free beer. Pwede nang mag-inuman habang naghihintay ng flight!

We boarded the plane and had awesome food by Japan Airlines. After arriving in Tokyo, we took a shuttle bus to the Hilton Hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo and spent the night just walking around the area as it was already too late to go anywhere else.

Japan

Hey guys! So I'm back from my trip to Japan which was nothing short of awesome. There are a looooott of pictures so its going to take some time for me to upload. We were there for a good eight days and spent it mostly in the modern areas, not so much the cultural. Everything was planned so last minute so our itinerary was kind of a mess and we just went wherever (I think half the time was spent in the malls shopping). Plus, we've had our own share of cultural whatevers when we went to NY around 3 years ago anyway where all we did was go to museums. Dad loved it in Japan so much though that he said we'll definitely be back again --and maybe this time for a more cultural trip.

Anyhoo, so for this trip I wrote a 'blog' for the first three days so it wouldnt be hard for me to blog when I get home. The writing part will be easy then, so now I just have to worry about the pictures. Most of my outfits are outfits I could wear here in the Philippines because my layering was very minimal. I only had one coat with me to the trip and it was kind of ugly (made all my outfits look like a hobo HAHA) so I didnt wear it whenever I took the outfit photos but trust me, it was very, VERY cold. Divine Lee was there the same time as me and if you read her blog, she was wearing several layers (note: 3 layers of stockings under thigh-high boots) so you can just imagine how cold it was. My dad's so pa-cool though so he'd wear just a polo shirt whenever we go around and he'd always be like 'ang init init nga eh..' when EVERYONE else was wearing trench coats, etc. Oh well, I guess its cause back here in the Philippines its so hot so might as well take advantage of the cold, right?

That's all for now, stay tuned for my next posts!! HEE :-P

What I Wore: Zara jeans and top, People Are People leather jacket, Forever 21 boots, Chanel bag.

Entitled 'Image' because of my new haircut and hair color. Today I figured how my new hair really affects the way I look. All my outfits look different now because of my hair. I feel so badass now with it. Hahahah! Anyway, I cut it cause my long hair started to feel like a forest. It was already too long, plus it underwent so many treatments already that I felt I needed to start a new with fresh and healthy hair. So I chopped it all off and away they went! More than 10 inches of hair snipped away, I believe.

Anyhoo I wore this out to lunch to celebrate my dad's birthday today. Changed to a hoodie though when we left for lunch since I looked like too much of a rockstar beside my family who were just wearing polo shirts and shorts.

Hope you liked the update! Ciao! :-)
