New Stores!

I just couldnt contain this new information that I was able to get so I just KNEW that I had to blog it. Payless Shoes, a shoe brand based in the US is opening here in Manila mid 2010. Also, it has been confirmed that Forever21 will also be opening next year though there is no official date yet.

Now heres another article I stumbled on a while ago. It was too interesting to pass so here it is. This is just a repost from Jirita Jackson's blog: http://chuvaness.com

Someone's idea of a "unique" Christmas decoration/art installation is drawing different kinds of reactions from the neighbors.

Its creator says:

"Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas
decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after two days. I had
more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two
things made me take it down.
First, the cops advised me that it would cause
traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.
Second, a 55
year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it
against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed to the top
(she was not happy). By the way, she was one of many people who attempted to do
that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where
people literally drove up my yard."

Taste of Korean Culture

Today was literally a taste of Korean culture. Grace, Nancy, and Irene brought Kathleen and I around BF's korean spots. First off was Bi Wom, a Korean restaurant featuring traditional Korean delicacies including the ever so famous kimbap and bibimbap.

It was such an experience eating there. We werent only served in the traditional Korean style, but we were also able to get a taste of their specialties. Not only that, but it was really worth it eating there since we only paid 1.2k for ALL 5 of us already. Plus the servings were really huge and anyone would definitely be satisfied going there.

To try and lose all that we ate, we walked more. Walking around BF is actually fun when you're with friends minus the sun. We went to the Korean supermarket where we got some stuff for tomorrow's Christmas party. Grace also treated us to some icecream! Yumyumyum!

While waiting for the KTV to open, we chilled around Pergola and ended up in Starbucks where this happened..

Me: Oh ayan na medyo cute medyo cute!
Everyone: ...
Me: OR WAS THAT THE GUY A WHILE AGO?!
AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA shit super laughtrip. Its a super inside joke but whatever. That laugh amongst us was really endless when that happened.

Finally, for the best part. KARAOKE!!! I LOOOVE the Koreans for introducing us to this! Its the best ever! The place was FABULOUS as well! Karaoke never seemed this fun.

Trust

"It’s funny how some people think that everything revolves around them to the point that they would really make an extra effort to bash and to talk shit about others.

What’s even worse is that I considered these people friends and I was there to support, to listen and do everything else I need to do because that’s the way a friend should be right? I tried my best to take it all in and accept that some people are just wired that way but sometimes, it inevitably affects you and eats you. But I guess, I should be thankful that I found out about it now rather than go on, facing these people who are nothing but two faced bitches."

-Lissa Kahayon, Chictopia

Lissa Kahayon from Chictopia totally got how I am feeling right now about certain people. Her message on her blog was just so strong that I just had to repost it. I guess for once I just had to stand up for myself because I know that I cant let people keep on thinking what they think about me. The past how many weeks had so much drama in them and I know that up to now, even though we tried fixing it, there are still hard feelings and that there is still no trust.

This blog is just for me to say that I have been nothing but a good friend to the people I love and it sucks to have these people think so wrong of me. And yes, I am defending myself now in front of those who have gotten the wrong information about me. For those who actually BELIEVED what was being spread last time and for those who put so much MALICE into it, I really feel bad for you because it just shows how much you dont know me. After all these years of being my friend and/or batchmate you dont trust me enough to know that I am not that kind of person.

To those who still dont trust me after this, I just have one favor to ask. Dont be plastic to me while talking about me behind my back because I'd definitely rather have you just not talking to me at all. I am nothing but REAL and honest. Finally, to those who dont even know the whole story, please, dont judge.
