Back to Basics

My outfit today was originally supposed to be under the definition of "sweet and preppy". I was in a cute skirt and some white strappy heels. Apparently, my dad can't only dictate what I eat. From today onwards, he can already impose on the clothes I wear.

He goes on saying that I'm too dressed up and I should only be wearing flats since we're just going to be in The Fort and what not when in fact, im sure he only imposed on me because he was so casually dressed and he'd look undressed beside me. In my opinion though, there should be no limitations in fashion. Fashion is my way of expressing myself and it sucks to have people restricting me from these things.

What I Wore: Thrifted Alternative Earth shirt, Shorts from Bench, Shoes from Converse, Bag from Mango.

And so, this is what I wore instead. It's very laidback and if I removed the accessories, I'd probably look like I were just chilling at home. Dad said it looked better than the outfit I wore before that, but trust me, it doesnt. I'm wearing the other outfit tomorrow and you guys just see for yourselves.

Birthday Date

Photobucket

It's two days till I turn 17 so Ji and I decided to celebrate my birthday today. We went to Tagaytay and had lunch in Sonya's Garden. We got there at around 2pm so we had to wait for a table. While waiting, we decided to look around and take pictures.

Once we were lead to our table, we started with the course. It was a sit-down eat all you can. We were served with basic food except there were a variety of topings you can add on them. We didnt go for second servings though cause we were so full! Food was delicious though! Really worth it!

Afterwards we went around the garden more. It's so beautiful especially the sunflower garden! I love it there!

The ambiance of the place was really romantic. In fact, around three couples were having their wedding receptions when we were there.

Anyway, by the time we were done with lunch, it was already around 3pm. I wanted to go and look for thrift shops and so we went to the Tagaytay circle. We then spent the rest of our time in the thrift shops but I only bought one thing. It was so EXPENSIVE!! The dresses I usually buy in the thrift shop I frequent in Manila are only 50 pesos ($1) but I bought one today for 130 pesos (around $3). The rest were just really expensive so I didnt wanna buy anything else.

I had to be home by 7 so we left the thrift shops at 5. We were supposed to go around Tagaytay more but figured we'd be home late if we did. Today was really an enjoyable day though despite the time constraint! It was a great way to celebrate my birthday & I am more than happy that we had this =)

Photo Dump

These are just random photos I took with my phone which I'd like to share with everyone. I look haggard in most of them because well, basically these are all the behind the scenes pictures.

Shopping today w/ mom and sis. Went to Zara to get this top that my aunt gave me for christmas exchanged since its a size small. I've been getting all her gifts for the past years exchanged since she's been giving me size smalls. I really hate small sizes cause they're so tight fit. When will she ever accept the fact that I am not a small? Hahaha!
Really funky leggings over at American Rag!!! I SUPER LOVE THEM. They're amaazee. They remind me of the jeans that Sandara wore in one of their performances!
Candie's in Festival! Our country is starting to progress with all the new shops coming in! Accessorize, Candie's, and even Hermes! Then next year we'll be having Forever21 and Payless Shoes! wowowoww!

I'm super drooling for these shoes! Gucci boots at Tutto Moda. =)

The first bump I ever made on my car!
My sister and I on Christmas day.
A whole body picture of the outfit I wore a few days ago.
Experimenting with the polaroid/fish eye effect with my sister

Funky earrings! Only bought them for 100 pesos ($2) in a random stall. My outfit for that day was CL inspired and I never really invested on earrings so I thought I'd get myself some!
Sorry for the eyebags, the holidays have been doing things to me. Last night for example, I slept at 3am watching SCQ Reload (I was reliving my childhood memories). I had to get up at 10 to go to mass and from then on I was out the whole day. Went to Festi, then MOA, then we had a dinner in Imus Cavite at around 7 till 10. Tomorrow, I'll be going out with Ji to Tagaytay. I think I should get a good night's rest especially since I've been lacking sleep. Till next time!

Somebody To Love

Paris, France to Michigan
London town and through Berlin
I can’t believe this place I’m in
Everywhere and back again
Photobucket

Porcelain and China dolls
Give me one and I’ve seen them all
Got my back against the wall
Wonder where I’ll be tomorrow?

But wait, now how long could this take?
It’s hard to find a man,
When you’re gone before he wakes.

I search around the world
But I can’t seem to find
Somebody to love
Photobucket

I know it's hard to achieve but

Can't a girl believe?
