TONIGHT'S GONNA BE A GOOD NIGHT!

Celebrated Halloween09 with a BANG! Our organizers did it Black Eyed Peas style with the first black light party in the SOUTH! Halloween & neon costumes+neon paint+highlighters+glowsticks+lollipop glowsticks. Definitely enjoyed partying with everyone. This is the last Halloween party we'll ever have as highschoolers (for most of us, atleast)! I was glad to see a lot of batchmates who partied along with us. It was one great night. From dancing, to getting drenched in the pouring rain, to going to 7ELEVEN in our costumes and me getting called DARNA by little kids, to going crazy and just simply pa-pa-partying!

Short Shoot

Had a little photoshoot today for the yearbook since Steph and I needed barkada pics. It wasnt so successful but we were still able to take some good shots. A little editing will do the trick ;)

Granny's Birthday!

Today was our grandma's birthday which meant another foodie day over at Bellevue for us. For some reason though, I wasnt really as fulfilled as I would usually be. I dont know if its the food or me. Nevertheless, I still ate a lot.

What I had:

Vegeterian curry in onion wraps, cauliflower in cream, veggies, pesto, a varation of patte` on bread, potato salad, cucumber sushi, caramel filled bread.

fried potatoes (supposedly for the steak), the patte again, tofu salad, cookie.

Some noodle thing.

PLUS a bunch of desserts!

After seeing my dessert plate, my tita asked me: "So you go to the gym afterwards or something??" and I was like.. "uhh.. no. I just get fat." Lol.

Anyway, since I love my granny so much, we made her a birthday card! We designed it with a happy birthday greeting in the front and pictures of us with her and our letters to her at the back. I love my lola :)

Lace in All

Went out today to get a few stuff developed for our grandma's birthday and also to visit the bazaar at Cuenca. As you can see, this black bangle of mine has been over OVERUSED so I decided that I needed new accessories. The clay boutique in the bazaar last week was gone so I wasnt able to come back for super cute accessories. Instead, I bought necklaces and this really one of a kind ring.

Okay, so maybe I wasnt able to get a new replacement for this overused bangle but ah, maybe some other time. By the way, I promised myself that I will only be buying accessories until the end of the year. I have too much clothes stocked in my closet already and I am having a scarcity with accessories ( I think I wore this bangle in all my past 5 or 6 consecutive outfit posts. haha!)

On to the outfit. The lace top I scored at a thrift shop for only $1. It is very reminiscent of Topshop's new collection, dont you think? I was really itching to wear this out already and I'm so glad now that I did!

Going Gaga for Gaga

Because of the weather, I havent really had time to dress up and post new outfit pictures so here I am posting the most random things I could possibly find.

For one, Lady Gaga's bow styled hair is just too interesting to pass. I was browsing through Hayley's blog (Hayley of http://fashionhayleyhome.blogspot.com) and I stumbled on a video that she posted from Youtube. Its a ribbon hair tutorial which teaches how to do your hair Lady Gaga style. I just got fond of it cause it was so cool how the girl put everything together and that the outcome was so clean and polished exactly just like Lady Gaga's! Just watching the video alone can definitely entertain.

I'll try to post some more random online finds if I can. I am literally on house arrest (well I'm sure a lot are..) because of the storm and I havent been able to go out in the longest time. I guess its all for our safety anyway in the end. Please help continue praying for the Philippines especially those who were affected by Ondoy and those who are currently being affected by the super typhoon, Pepeng.
