Today we had lunch over at Bia's. Good food, plus great company.

Nothing can be better than the pasta and steak combo. OOZING DELICIOUS JUICY STEAK! yumm. Bia's new house is pretty cool. Steph and I were so amazed (we're always amazed by such beautiful houses) so we went on a photoshoot.

The rest of the time was spent for rockband, bonding, games, and watching videos. It was great spending time with everyone once again. Next time will be on the 26th, I really hope I get on my dad's good side so I'd be allowed.

Carlo's new house is beautiful though I will miss his old house very much. So much memories were created by all of us in that house: First drunken party, first kisses, first cigarette, his Sixteenth birthday, and so much more. I guess a new house means new beginnings; new memories to create. I am hoping that this group's friendship (you know who you are) will continue to grow and flourish because these people are the friends I am sure to cherish forever.

Last Sunday, we headed to the North right after the JOG event. Our main purpose there was to get my running shoes and register for the fun run of New Balance in The Fort. (If anyone's interested in joining, send me a message :) ) I was originally just going to get my shoes in the New Balance in Festival but they didnt have my size so we reserved one in in their Glorietta branch.

We went to Glorietta from Greenbelt after eating lunch at Good Earth which was on a P299 order all you can promo. Cool, no?

Some of what we ordered:

I only ate one bowl of Kangkong leaves and a ton of seaweed+century egg plates though since I am currently abstaining from meat.

Glorietta was as PACKED as ever when we got there. Apparently, it was also the day that Jabawockeez (SP?) was going to perform which explained the crowd. Right after buying my shoes, we immediately rushed back to Greenbelt cause my dad couldnt take the crowd and the heat.

On to the outfit. I really love the dress that I wore. The print, the color, the cloth, everything. Its actually a dress I've had for YEARS but never bothered wearing. I think mom bought this for me when I still hated clothes (yes, I DESPISED clothes with all my heart when I was a kid. I hated trying them on and most especially I hated receiving them as gifts.) I only managed to dig up this dress during the summer and from then on I loved it. Now, I'm actually really thankful that my mom bought me all those clothes as a kid. I guess I got my sense of fashion from her. Haha!

J.O.G (Joy of Giving)

I covered an event of our school today. Since I am not under any team, I worked as a free-lance photographer for the day.

J.O.G is a charity event our school held for the less fortunate in Gawad Kalinga. It was basically to fund for the 3 storey building project for GK. Despite the rainy and almost unpassable weather (I got stranded due to floods), J.O.G was still a success. God was good enough to answer our prayers and made the rain stop just for the EXACT duration of the jog (The rain started pouring as soon as everyone got back to the finish line). This fundraiser activity wouldnt have been possible without the help of many people. I know how much Cheil and the rest of the WSC worked for this and I'm glad that everything paid off.

My Top 10 Online Shopping Sites

Since everyone has suddenly been into online shopping, I decided to make it easier for you guys and do a compilation of my top 10 favorite online shopping sites. My favorites go from sophisticated girly fashion sites to casual everyday wear sites.

1.Glitterati

First would be Glitterati which was the first ever online shop I fell in love with. I actually came to know about this shop from JL who had a Chictopia. JL advertised all her designs there and I thought everything she wore just looked fabulous on her. Gliteratti is designed and owned by Joana Ladrido (JL) and Nina Estacio (Both are the girls on the picture above). They are known for their puff skirts and everything else chic and glamorous.

2.Poison berry

My absolute favorite! Poison Berry caters mainly to the youth. Their designs are mainly composed of trendy and in-style pieces. Everything colorful, bright, and loud is what you'll find in Poison Berry. I've blogged about this shop earlier on my blog so I wouldnt go much into detail. As of now, they have moved on to their COVER-UPs collection meaning blazers, jackets, etc. so check them out now!

3. Undernourished Manila

This shop I have just rediscovered again recently. Its been a long time since I visited their site and once I checked it out again, I was amazed with their improvement. This shop is somewhat like Poison Berry except in a more sophisticated sense. Also, unlike Pberry, they release limited amounts of their designs so you better get your hands on the pieces you want before they're gone.

4. Co-exist

Co-exist is by another Chictopian, Camille Co (model above). She actually designs and models her own clothes. What I like about co-exist is their bright and SOLID colors. Co-exist designs have a lot of geometry in them; shapes, lines, curves, etc. Also, Co-exist has a very young and sensitive theme to it compared to that of Glitterati whos designs exude a lot of attitude.

5. Zoo Shoes

6. Street Beat Boutique

The name says it all. Whatever street clothing you're looking for, you'll find here. Vests, stripes, colors, they have it all. With Raya modelling for SBB, you cant go wrong on shopping there.

This online shop is somewhat like Co-exist except it has more classic items such as those skirts and polos that never go out of fashion. Clothes from Monroe come with a price though. They are priced a little more expensive than other shops. But hey, quality always comes first right? Spending a little bit more for better quality items never hurt anybody.

MY FAVORITE SHOE SHOP!!! I am a rubbershoe fanatic and I must say, this online shop has the best to offer when it comes to rubbershoes. They have a variety of shoe brands including the ever so famous Nike dunks and a bunch of limited edition Adidas shoes.

9. Ukay Queen

Now if you're on the broke side, theres always a ton of alternatives to choose from, one being thrift items or what we call here in the Philippines, UKAY-UKAY. Thrifting is actually a great way of shopping for new clothes. Smart thrifty people often shop at these ukay stores and get wonderful deals. One of the most known online ukay stores here in the Philippines is The Ukay Queen. It was actually the FIRST online ukay store and I must say, they have definitely lived up to the expectations of the shoppers. They have great one of a kind pieces in trend at such LOW unbelievable prices. In addition, the photography and post-processing of their pictures are done so well which will leave you wanting MORE!
